In the early years, Wood, Inc. represented manufactures of personal hygiene products, paper grocery-style bags and pulp formed egg cartons. Under Mr. Wood’s guidance, Wood, Inc., survived the Great Depression, added sales staff and expanded its client base. Sadly, in 1961, Mr. Wood passed away.      However, his dream lived on and Wood, Inc. continued to pursue excellence through innovation, persistence and focused change. As time passed, Wood, Inc. gradually expanded its territory to cover: D.C., DE, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, VA and parts of WV. Territorial expansion, coupled with a careful broadening of manufactures represented allowed for continued growth.      Today, Wood Inc. diligently represents some of the most innovative packaging manufactures in the United States. Food service papers, specialty bags, retail-packaging tissues, flexible packaging films, folding cartons and thermoformed parts are only a few of the products firms entrust Wood, Inc. to purvey. These products, coupled with dedication, focus, teamwork, years of experience and integrity allow Wood, Inc. to provide effective packaging solutions.      Mr. Woods’ dream is still alive. Now, as in the past, clear vision and a desire to be that best guide Wood, Inc. each day toward new challenges and goals.
